Vanilla vines naturally grow in Sylves, dense tropical rainforests, climbing up all sorts of existing trees. Its growth environment is referred to as its terroir, and includes not only the adjacent plants, but also the climate, the geography and local geology and its entire ecosystem and biodiversity. This is where Sylvanilla name comes from. By cultivating vanilla vines in agro -forestry, the local communities, living in tropical forests and part of these ecosystems, thrive to generate a sustainable revenue in a circular economy while protecting existing biodiversity.

If you too wish to taste more of the actually existing Vanilla species, you may support Sylvanilla's Partnering Farmers by subscribing to their Agroforestry Farms development' programs.

Some more agroforestry farms located all around the world are added season after season. The farmers cultivate more organic vanilla vines on already existing trees (cocoa, coffee, nutmeg, orange, citrus, ...) and you are able to follow up the developments made and, exclusively from Sylvanilla, you receive every year the first harvested and refined organic gourmet vanilla beans* from the vanilleraie(s) you are helping to grow (*1 vanilla bean per increment) and 10% off coupon on all vanilla beans all year long.
